Holy 10 Minute Jeremy BreeMan

July 25, 2008

Where in the heck did you come up with 10 minutes. I thought I was going along fine with the 45lbs bar for the OHSs and doing as many burpees in a row as possible…but then I was to the last round with 2:45 to go. I had to really hustle on the OHSs and the bar was falling down on the 9th one. My shoulders are still so sore from yesterday. So then I had to really push it on the burpees to get done at 9:49…ugh.

I almost met Mr. Pukie

Glad that did not happen but wow. That was hard. The OHS is a rare beast of a move that when done right feels awesome and works EVERYTHING yet when done with even the slightest break in form becomes almost unbearable. I really don’t know how people do hundreds of pounds on these. It is amazing.

Well sunshine today, finally. The boys are all sleeping, including Jeff who got no sleep at work and ended the day with a stressful call on a boy (kids wear your helmets!!!). So I have some rare alone time. Wahooo.

Great job Bree and I don’t know if you watched that video but I was really disturbed by it. Maybe that will save the kids life someday but man…talk about a trial by fire.

  1. Yeah, helmets are required in this household!

The video freaked me out until I went to the website that is the source of the training that explained the situation and what they’re trying to do. The baby had been in lessons for over a month to learn how to do the flip and float. I was damned impressed… if you didn’t check out the website, you should!
